The Top 5: Winter Knits

By October 22, 2012Style, Style Picks

If you haven’t already noticed, the mornings are getting icy, days colder and nightfall is beginning to creep up on us faster and faster which can only mean one thing: Winter is coming.

And as the weather gets a bit more chilly, your wardrobe will definitely be in need of something cosy, cool and most importantly warm!
No sweat, here at PAUSE we have sourced for you some of our favorite knits for your winter wardrobe this season.

Rollneck, Turtleneck … whatever you call it, its one of this seasons must haves!
A snug fit teamed with a blazer would look great for something more formal whilst a looser fit teamed with some chinos would make for a smart-casual day look.

Take a look at the selection at Urban Outfitters.

This Ombre chunky knit from Topman is perfect for the freezing nights awaiting. Taking over the summer tie-dye craze, Ombre is definitely on trend.

PAUSE recommends buying it in a couple of sizes too big to get that over-sized look.

Simple, stylish and classic, this cable knit jumper has elongated its stay as a cool autumn trend to a great winter one.
The more subtle choice, this knit is great to mix and match with outfits and one you can pull out in future seasons to come.

Another chunky knit, this time from the people down at Zara.
With a more preppy vibe, this sweater would be great for a night on the town yet easily adaptable to a day time casual look.
PAUSE recommend this in a more snug fit.

This grundge look jumper from French Connection is certainly eye catching.
Team it with some Doc Martens for a grundge style or some skinnies and brogues for a more contemporary twist.
