Despite being at the cutting edge of what is trendy, Gun Germs $teal has a surprisingly academic name (presumably coming from Jared Diamonds Guns, Germs and Steel). Nevertheless, the label have the likes of Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar wearing their threads, even (and perhaps slightly embarrassingly) Soulja Boy. Their clothes can only be described as ‘post-apocalyptic bling’; Combining 90’s gangsta rap styles with high fashion. The LA brand has only been around for two years, but still have carved out an incredible, and unique style.

GG$ BIG SEAN

The label really pulled out the stops for their spring/summer collection featuring souvenir jackets which are the perfect summation of their ethos! Available in a gold, silver or bronze; GG$  debut a striped jacket that hails straight from downtown LA 20 years ago, except it has a snakeskin front. The label has provided fans with ensembles that they will no doubt be noticed wearing! The collection also has some practical elements – a few of the jackets can be turned inside out, handy if you no longer want to stand out as much! With en-trend matching track suit bottoms to match – this 100% silk tracksuits seem like a win-win!

Gun Germs $teal thrive off throwing together styles and designs that normally would not be within miles of each other, making it easier for fans to throw on a different combination of outfits, and the juxtaposition will only add to the outfit – normal rules of fashion don’t really apply with GG$’s sense of style being so audacious!

The basics present of a more traditional look – the shelter shirts look like you could wear them in more casual situations; with the classic as well as popular,  G Print shirt standing right out without looking ridiculous. The brand also have incorporated varsity jackets, with outrageous but stylishly exciting prints, The varsity collar and cuffs look completely out of place on a button up – but that was probably the point!
