Belstaff’s SS16 collection ‘Desert Explorers’ draws inspiration from the British desert explorer and military aesthetic, …
Renowned for their creative use of quirky prints juxtaposed along lively bold color infusions, UK design duo Agape Mdumulla and Sam Cotton of Agi & Sam have recently released their highly anticipated SS14 lookbook in preparation for the upcoming warm weather seasons.
The eccentric design team take great pride in their use of contrasting silhouettes to apply a slew of multiple patterned prints. Maturing as print-makers, Agi & Sam draw upon their fondness for creating audacious print impressions along with simplistic symmetrical shapes to contemporary suiting options emitting a harmonized, gentlemanly aesthetic. Choosing to employ an impressive array of warm seasonal shades of orange and blue infused with muted tones of black, grey and white keep the range well balanced.
Standouts within the collection include oversized, short-sleeved blazers, Harrington style jackets, two-toned overcoats, and slim-fitting suits amongst a host of so many others. With such a high comfort level in showcasing daring ensemble combinations – like an oversized mac coat paired with dress shoes or sleek fitting blazers teamed with baggy walking shorts have no question garnered the well earned attention they have and continue to receive.
Although still relatively new to the fashion scene, Agi & Sam have steadily climbed the design ranks endearing themselves to sartorially conscious gents the world over.
