River Island releases their AW14 Campaign featuring Sebastian Sauve.
The illustrious model Sebstian Sauve, who has graced the covers of both Schön and L’Officiel Hommes, works alongside Jacob Riley to front River Island’s latest AW14 campaign. Shot by Emma Summerton and styled by Beth Fenton; the men pose nonchalant against vibrant backdrops that echo the palette of the clothes they’re dressed in. Reflecting that of a winter’s evening: midnight navy, velveteen black and indulgent plum monopolise the collection. River Island present pieces in an array of fabrics and constructional styles. Jumpers come in both tuck knit, rack knit, and even a quilted effect: finished with a round-neck or a roll-neck to combat those colder temperatures. Relaxed and sleek leather jackets are inherently casual, whilst fitted blazers appeal to those in search of a more refined look. A statement overcoat with a fur-lined lapel contests for the best piece of the collection. River Island as expected, excel in terms of men’s bottom halves: offering a selection of tweed roll cuff trousers, and washed denim jeans. All outfits are finished with a pair of chelsea boots, lace-up brogues or monochromatic leather look trainers.
