Dolce & Gabbana SS15 Eyewear Campaign

Because who’s more inspiring than you?

balenciaga1

The Fall 2016 lookbook is here and while it may scream of new creative director, order Demna Gvasalia’s touch, the collection was actually conceived before his appointment. Looking back through the archives to founder, Cristóbal Balenciaga’s design relationship with Mona von Bismarck, the pieces and details are very contemporary with a retrospective nod. There’a lots of exaggeration with awkward cuts and lengths, getting us real excited for the brand’s first menswear show in Paris in June

If there’s one key styling tip to take home from this lookbook it’s tucking. Whether a shearling aviator , zip-through hoodie or quilted puffa, tuck it on to your trousers. The collection celebrates co-ord looks in cosy winter textures, and earthy utilitarian tones, inspired by dirt-digging gardening gear.

This spring/summer 2016 we’ve seen Presto after Presto from Nike and finally we at PAUSE believe this pair is one of the coolest. ACRONYM and NIKE have collaborated on a new Nike Air Presto designer, which features a neon-coloured spin in pink, neon yellow and blue. The mid-cut sneakers features zip detailing on the side giving the Air Nike a premium upgrade. Stay tuned for the release date for these to drop at NIKE online in the next coming weeks/months.

Why enlist the help of one maison for your collection when you can have four? That seemed to be thinking behind Pigalle’s latest collection, a line of incredibly limited menswear pieces that come close to being actual works of art.

The collection is a collaboration with four different Parisian Maisons: Lesage, Lemarié, Lognon and Goossens. The designers brought their collective background in haute couture to the latest Pigalle offerings, with each piece being made by hand and in a limited series of five. Some aspects of the collection required more than 40 hours of work, solidifying the unique craftsmanship behind each individual piece.
