Gucci, please?
Exclusively premiering his new video ‘Gucci Please’ on Vogue.com yesterday, there is no denying that we are a little obsessed with all things Gucci Mane right now. The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, was recently released from prison and placed under house arrest for the remaining months of his three-plus-year sentence. His new album ‘Everybody Looking’ dropped last month and features the likes of Kanye and Drake, more impressively it was recorded in just six days. His ninth studio album in an impressive ten year career.
But it’s not just the Gucci’s return to the studio that has us talking. During his incarceration Gucci managed to overcome his drug addiction to ‘lean’, a prescription cough syrup, and has dropped 75 pounds with an intense new gym regime and healthy lifestyle.
The rapper sports a shearling Balmain jacket in ‘Gucci Please’, listing the brand as one of his favourites alongside ‘Givenchy, Buscemi, and Christian Louboutin’ during his Vogue interview.
