“ENLIGHTENMENT”; inspiration drawn from the Industrial Revolution.

The British Industrial revolution of the 17th & 18th Century served as the main inspiration for Blood Brother’s autumn/winter 16 collection. The collection draws from the innovations and advances of factories and technologies which in turn changed and shaped the future for human civilisation. In addition to this, Blood Brother sets out to celebrate the revolutionary ideas from our past and our history; pushing boundaries and creating change.

Blood Brother’s collection makes a point of calling the best advances to heel; medicine, space conquests, engineering and the spectacular outbreak of the digital age.

The collection features polo necks with bold text on the necklines and jackets popping with graphic art. Their t-shirts feature symmetrical large pocket detailing and thick wool jumpers are styled for layering. The Blood Brother joggers have been reinvented in suede, complimenting the suede and leather zip detail jacket.

The colour palette is a further reflection of the revolution; the umber of chimneys; the hot glow of furnaces and intense heats of molten metal.

The collection is available to purchase now at Selfridges.
