The much-anticipated comeback of the season occurred during NYFW, with new Band Of Outsiders’ Spring/Summer 2017 collection. After founder Scott Sternberg cut ties with his label back in 2015 (in the wake of cancellation of fall orders and laid off of staff), Band Of Outsiders had announced their continuation without him.
Yet, the wait is now over. Band Of Outsiders reconnected with NYFW audience, with its male models sporting stripes, check prints and oversized knitwear. The LA-based brand, now led by Antwerp trio Matthias Weber, Niklaus Hodel, and Florian Feder, is marked with their signature. Velvet bomber jackets struck perfectly with a tailored navy blue blazer, whilst some white lace added a delicate touch to the Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
