Thom Browne opens its first freestanding European store in Milan.

Excitement thrusts upon the fashion industry as Thom Browne reveals the opening of its first freestanding European store in Milan, focusing on Browne’s design and visual concept adopted by the Italian interior design firm ASA Studio Albanese.

The 1, 300-square-foot space is located off of the rural Via Gesù, including five rooms divided on a single level. The shop will in turn house both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections, in addition to made-to-measure evening-wear styles.

The valued interior of the store finds inspiration from the ’50s and ’60s, thereby depicting Terrazzo floors, grey marble-clad walls, Browne’s signature window blinds and continental mid-century furniture.
