When Versace’s diffusion line emerged under the creative direction of Christopher Kane back in 2009, it promised unconventional club realness. Since then, Versus Versace has clasped the torch in one hand and fled with it, scorching the runway with fashion forward artistry and femininity. For its Pre-Spring 2018 collection, the brand stays true to its vision, introducing a bounty of neon colours, the safety pins we saw back in 2009 and some androgynous silhouettes. Fringed plaid clashes with denim and leather, red pinstripes meet sleek trousers and statement bucket hats sit atop lime green outfits.
