Gucci Announces New Project “Research Lab”

Gucci continues it’s partnership with the renowned Italian school.

Gucci has announced that it will be working alongside one of Milan’s most prestigious schools, Bocconi University on a brand new project called “Research Lab”. The three year long project explore how luxury brands can successfully expand throughout the 21st century, by working with professors of the University.

Each year the investigation findings will be released, surrounding topics such as company culture, and their “soft skills” such as: startup mentality, employee empowerment, risk-taking, fast decision making and agile processes, in an publicly available official research paper.

Marco Bizarri, Gucci’s president and chief executive explained that the project “is designed to reveal important insights that large and small companies can learn from. More than ever before, a company’s culture can be the differentiating factor in terms of competitive advantage.”.
