"The audacity to dream."

Introducing a new range of relaxed, boxy fitting garments, Rhude SS’21 takes place in a modern mid-century home as models pose in the wood-heavy interiors.

Having to remain in Los Angeles and not travel to Paris to present the brands latest collection may have influenced the laid-back, L.A. vibe that this lookbook exudes. Creative director Rhuigi Villaseñor cited Americana as an influence, seen through his eye as a Filipino immigrant.

American influences are prominent across the collection, with Collegiate-style fonts, a varsity jacket and paisley bandana prints used for the bags being the obvious references. Amongst these, the boxy-fitting silhouette that Rhude is renowned for continue to produce a laid-back and effortlessly cool look: oversized shoulders drop closer to the model’s elbows, tops finish just below the model’s hips and trousers and shorts are loose-fitting.
