Supreme’s long standing collaboration with The North Face has resulted in a new collection being released. Produced in four different colours, the new range consists of a new Expedition Coaches Jacket and Expedition Medium Backpack.
Running on from their SS12 collaboration, the two brands have continued on with the map theme, adding in three block colours, in yellow, turquoise and black.
The Expedition Jacket comes with a waterproof nylon shell, with a detachable hood, and Expedition Medium Backpack features a water-resistant poly shell. Both the traditional Supreme and The North Face logos are branded across the pieces, with ‘Supreme’ emblazoned on the left sleeve.
As well as the four different colour ways, there is six flag detailing that appears on every piece. Representing the six nations that joined forces to cross the Antarctic in 1989, the flags of China, the United States, Russia, Great Britain, Japan and France are visible. Keeping in theme with the brands’ previous works, this embellishment was a part of The North Face’s Trans Antarctica collection which was released in 1990.
The collaborative Spring/ Summer 2014 collection will be available from the Supreme website and their London store from Thursday 17th April.
