MR PORTER has just released a first look at the first installment of a new capsule collection.
Teaming up with AMI, a young label based in Paris, to create a collection that features pieces that range from classic designs, to a more modern aesthetic, MR PORTER presents some fantastic forward thinking and unique pieces that are perfect for this season. Alexander Mattiussi, the founder of the AMI label, has worked or big name brands like Dior and Marc Jacobs before launching AMI, and before creating high quality menswear under his own label.
Bold printed stripes, in blue, green, red and white, emblazoned on a bomber jacket and matching shorts are a brilliant way to stand out this coming summer. A classic denim jacket and cream jumper are injected with modern tailoring and given a more fitted look to bring it right into 2014, and offers twists on some popular trends.
