Rick Owens collaborates with Adidas for a second season this year introducing a new silhouette design, the ‘Tech Runner’ Sneaker.
The collection consists of blunt colours such as black, milk and bone. Basic yet still very pleasing to the eye, the collection reflects Owens’ minimalist aesthetics which has been inspired by Stealth Bombers.
The classic style Adidas sneakers are made with top quality suede and fine leather while having embraced the full-length black rubber soul with the Rick Owens saw tooth design, a very stylish edge. The infamous Adidas three stripes are perforated on the sides with Rick Owens signature featured on the heel, the collaboration is most certainly something to be recognised.
The new collection for AW14 was recently revealed to us at Paris Men’s Fashion week and will be available to buy from mid-July. For us at PAUSE, we are more than excited about this new collection and expect to see more collaborations in the future from Adidas and Rick Owens. Their work is simply out of this world.
