Northumbria University had a lot of promising talent on show at Graduate Fashion week – but one graduate designer that we particularly loved was Elizabeth Whitehouse.
Her collection, ‘THE SWENKERS’, ties in structured tailoring with vibrant and bold African prints. She draws inspiration from workwear and 1920’s criminal attire to produce a very exciting collection. Her consistent themes of cropped and tapered trousers and modern silhouettes give this collection a very wearable feel.
She accessorised with bright brogues, Oxfords, loafers and monks with vibrant socks and an array of briefcases to tie the collection together nicely. We are excited to see what this young talent has in store for the future!
