The first major collaboration for Aries.
The latest offering from the London-based label, Aries, is a footwear collaboration with Vans, featuring two variations of the slip-on and two of the Sk8-Hi. If you haven’t heard of Aries, they’re a brand out of London founded by Sofia Prantera and Fergus Purcell – two individuals with heaps of experience in this industry and previous brand ownership.
The collection sees two iconic models, the slip-on and Sk8-Hi, uplifted with a colourful graphic. The Sk8-Hi comes in either black or white, with a yellow stripe through the upper and ‘ARIES ARISE’ printed on the midsole. As opposed to a far more colourful slip on, available in either red with black trim or white with red trim, both with accompanied by a green heel tab. The slip-on continues with that ‘ARIES ARISE’ printed on the midsole.
The subtle finishing touches make this collaboration – a custom shoe box and Aries dust bag are the icing on the cake.
