Rounding off the year.
Luxury fashion platform Lyst recently unveiled it’s most searched brands and most popular sneakers from the last quarter of 2018.
While brands such as Gucci, Off-White™, Givenchy and Balenciaga remained in the top 10, streetwear brands such as Supreme, adidas, Nike also appeared on the list, highlighting a shift in trends and customer buying habits. Polo Ralph Lauren also made an appearance on the ranks, largely due to its recent collaboration with streetwear brand Palace, while Dolce & Gabbana – who came in fifth in Q2 – disappears from the list after the recent China scandal.
Ranked by searches, sales and views, when it comes to sneakers, the Balenciaga Triple S reigns supreme, while silhouettes from sportswear brands such as Nike and adidas make up the remainder of the list. Reebok’s Club C, the Gucci Ace, YEEZY Boost and the Guiseppe Zanotti Kriss high-top sneaker also make the popular sneakers list, indicating a possible end to the chunky-dad shoe trend.
