From the SS19 Runway show.
First seen on Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2019 runway show, the luxury brand just released the ” WHY DID THEY KILL BAMBI?” deer-print shirt.
Designed by Riccardo Tisci, the shirt is informed by a number of pop culture references – from the Sex Pistols’ 1979 song “Who Killed Bambi?” as well as the movie “Bambi.” With Burberry no longer using fur in its collections, the short sleeve shirt is crafted from cotton twill and sports a half-zip down the front of the shirt. Boxy shaped with pockets on the chest and the rear, the dear-print shirt is decorated with two pictures of porcelain deer on the back.
