It's the first Friday of August, which can only mean it's time to deep dive into our freshest selection of new music this Friday, as we offer you the latest tracks you need in your rotation.

AMINÉ ft. YOUNG THUG – COMPENSATING

In the run up of his second album Limbo, Aminé has dropped his latest music video ‘Compensating’ featuring rap legend Young Thug.

The comedic exhibition shows Aminé playing tennis located in an opulent mansion in Bel Air. Volleying both the ball and rap styles, the Thug-assisted cut touches on past lovers of failed relationships.

BUGZY MALONE – M.E.N III

Manchester-based Bugzy Malone is back with a brand new single ‘M.E.N. III’, accompanying his much-loved storytelling ability with deep, video treatment.

The track comes as a third instalment of his M.E.N series, in which he uses his lyrical prowess to touch on his experiences he has faced thus far.

SWEENEY – DIFFERENCE

North London artist Sweeney has unleashed a powerful new single entitled ‘Difference’. Underpinned by a sparse drill beat, Sweeney’s flow is merged with powerful visual acknowledgment of the Black Lives Matter movement.

His third single, as of yet, will feature on his forthcoming mixtape.

RICH THE KID FT. ROMPASSO – ANGETENAR

Russian DJ and producer Rompasso calls on Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid for high-energy new version of his track ‘Angetenar’.

Lending a confident flow to the already-certified Rompasso hit, Rich The Kid’s collaboration amplifies a fresh take on the revered sound.

MASTER PEACE – REGULAR FEELINGS

Eclectic artist Master Peace comes through with a joyful, reggae-enthused love song titled ‘Regular Feelings’. Inspired by UB40’s classic ‘Red Red Wine’, Peace’s latest track delves into being in the grips of infatuation, with the intention of reinforcing the message of Black Love.

Taken from his debut EP Love Bites, the 21-year-old genre-splicing artist takes you on a journey in his latest offering.

CARDI B ft. MEGAN THEE STALLION – WAP

‘WAP’ marks Cardi B’s first original release of 2020, which can only mean the Bronx-native had to tap Megan Thee Stallion to form the ultimate hot girl duo.

The lavish visuals see both Cardi and Megan wander through a mansion, dropping the raunchiest of verses and moves – along with some familiar faces throughout the Colin Tilley-directed video.

MEGA – LET ME LET YOU GO

British soulstress Mega returns with follow-up single ‘Let Me Let You Go’, two years after her much-admired debut ‘Chariot’.

Infused with delicate guitar strings and sparse percussion, the backdrop of her track ensures her soaring vocals are quintessentially targeted. Diving deep into her emotional memory, the north London artist explores themes of trust along with vulnerability in her latest drop.
