Toronto-based design studio Vitaly has launched a new collection of sunglasses that forefront environmental design.
The experimental studio, which describes itself as “accessory architects”, works exclusively with 100% recycled, surgical grade stainless steel and has utilised the material for its futuristic new shades. The first pair of sunglasses to release from its collection are titled “The Matrix” and sport a distinct Y2K-inspired look with shallow, angular frames. The dark-tinted lenses on the glasses are also produced from 39% plant oils.
With more sunglass releases in the pipeline, shown in the editorial below, The Matrix sunglasses are available to shop via Vitaly’s website from July 8.
