Fresh from presenting its Spring/Summer 2022 collection last month, Manchester-based label Val Kristopher is releasing a limited edition bank holiday drop.
Comprised of muted colour tones, it revisits themes that are common to the designer such as deconstruction and collegiate detailing. A designer who enjoys focusing on the ageing and wearing of a garment, the brand’s signature denim features distressing and fraying whilst a section of the hem of a cardigan is detached and swings from the bottom.
Specialising in denim, this collection sees the label also focus on knitwear, as has been the case with recent releases. Boxy-fitting jumpers and cardigans feature collegiate-style branding with a standout item being a reworked cardigan that combines two styles with one side presenting lace appliqué.
