Coming together for a surprise release, A Ma Maniére and Jordan have joined forces once again for a limited-edition release of the Jordan Air Ship sneaker.
Having already come together for collaborative iterations of the Air Jordan 1, 2, and 3, with releases of the Air Jordan 12 and 4 also tipped to drop this year, A Ma Maniére and Jordan have thrown a curve ball into the mix as they unveil a surprise release of the Jordan Air Ship. Historically, this is a pair that gained its notoriety through Michael Jordan’s use of the silhouette in the early portion of his rookie season, as well as being the first silhouette that the NBA flagged for going against their on-court dress code. Capturing this history, A Ma Maniére have strayed away from their favourite tonal brown and burgundy colour palette for this pair, instead utilising a more classic white and royal blue. Sticking to traditional Jordan full grain leather for the upper, this pair boast a predominantly white upper with traditional royal blue accents hitting the Nike midfoot Swoosh, collars and outsole. Keeping it simple, the pair rock ‘Nike Air’ lettering on the rear heel as well as on the tongue tab, which also features the A Ma Maniére name. Each pair will be numbered with their production number, labelling them as being one of the 2,300 pairs available.
