Releasing on November 11th
To close out their ’20 Years: Recorded’ campaign, Adidas and Y-3 have collaborated with Palace on a full collection. This has been a very eventful couple of weeks for the London-based brand, coming off a massive Gucci collection that just recently dropped and now being given the honour to tap into Y-3’s illustrious archive to put their spin on some core pieces.
Channelling the tongue-in-cheek nature of Palace, the collaboration is accompanied by a campaign that sees football legend Zinedine Zidane and skateboard icon Lucas Puig feature. Shot by Jack Davidson and styled by Robbie Spencer, the images and short film serve as a dynamic tribute to sporting heritage.
This complete capsule has everything you could possibly want in a Y-3 collection, all in eclectic styles and silhouettes. Stand-out pieces include a reversible souvenir jacket, a chunky skeleton knit jumper, a graphic football top, an unstructured blazer and a tracksuit set. Recurring motifs include a rose graphic that can be seen on many of the pieces as well as the Y-3 and Palace Tri-Ferg logo. Accessories are in abundance as anything from headwear to a sling bag to even a football. Three versions of the archival Y-3 YUUTO sneaker are also on offer, coming in black, lime green and white with the rose motif.
