Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG
It was only ever going to start one way. Nike have returned with another iteration of their iconic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago”, giving the famous pair a marginally distressed makeover. The timeless pair are set to keep the iconic red, white and black colour-blocking of prior releases, putting forward a slightly aged cream midsole, a similarly-shaded pair of laces, as well as a cracked faded black ankle area. There are pairs you simply don’t miss out on… and this is one of them.
New Balance x Mowalola U9060ML
Making their triumphant return to the line-up are New Balance and Nigerian-born fashion designer Mowalola, who have teamed up to finally release their collaborative New Balance x Mowalola U9060ML sneaker. Having long been teased by the likes of NB brand ambassador Aminè, this pair feature a predominantly black upper, being composed out of a mixed mesh and leather upper, whilst also boasting a striking teal streak stretching across the midfoot and New Balance branding, a hit of pink on the midsole, as well as a chunky heel unit.
CLOT x Converse Chuck 70 Hi
It’s firmly cozy season and footwear heritage brand Converse have listened to their winter doubters as they team up with CLOT for a furry iteration of the Chuck 70 Hi. Taking inspiration from China’s national animal, the giant panda, the pair rock a black and white colour scheme and are composed out of a mixture of hair on one side and faux-fur on the other, with hits of rich luxury leather also making an appearance. Some alternate standouts include a semi-translucent midsole, black lacing and tongue areas, as well as a painted Panda paw print, which is located on the outsole of the shoe.
adidas Rovermule Adventure
adidas have stepped forward with yet another controversial entry, taking YEEZY’s influence to the bank with the adidas Rovermule Adventure ‘Cardboard’. Arriving in an autumnal mixed white and tonal brown colourway, the slip-on pair feature a robust 3-D sole unit, a mixed suede, material, and mesh construction, flexible sock linings, as well as standout Three Stripes midfoot branding and an electric yellow adidas emblem. If you want to stand out from the crowd, this is bound to do the trick.
Reebok x Eames Classic Leather
Heritage UK sportswear brand Reebok reunite with Eames to close out this week’s round-up, with the latter putting forward an autumnal iteration of the former’s famous Classic Leather sneaker. Boasting a ‘Light Sage/Cloud White/Cold Grey 2′ colourway, the pair don a simple distressed leather upper with tonal Reebok x Eames branding, opting for a truly minimalist approach. Some interesting features include Eames’ classic fuzzy sockliner, a pale grey Reebok-branded outsole, as well as signature-style Eames branding on the midfoot. A British classic.
