Taking on the Chuck 70 Hi...
Fresh off their recent collaboration with Zara, South-Korean outfit ADER Error have continued their collaborative efforts with a new take on Converse’s Chuck 70 Hi sneaker.
The unisex collective have made their presence known over the last year or so, releasing an array of standout pieces alongside their partly-sold out Zara collaboration. For this release, ADER Error took to Instagram to unveil the news that they would be teaming up with sneaker heritage brand Converse, taking on their classic Chuck 70 Hi sneaker. Arriving in a signature ADER blue and Converse’s retro off-white, the high-top pair boast pre-distressed cut-out detailing across the collar and eyelets, with additional standouts including intertwined doubled-up rope and flat laces, blue midsole piping, contrast-stitched tongue tabs, as well as “The new is not new” text spread across the midfoot, which is a nod to the collaboration’s project title: “Create Next: The new is not new.” “The New” and “Not New” text is also found in an alternate font on the front toe box of each shoe. Lastly, Converse’s iconic brand patch is located in it’s signature upper collar area, whilst a blue and white semi-translucent checkerboard outsole completes the look.
The ADER Error x Converse Chuck 70 Hi will be available to buy exclusively via the ADER Error website on January 9th.
