Gergei Erdei is a man of many talents, having designed for Gucci’s Womenswear under Alessandro Michele as well as having his own design studio where he offers bespoke design services for individual clients. Drôle de Monsieur has joined that line of clients as the creative duo present their inagural collaborative collection.
Taking inspiration from Floridian holiday resorts, the capsule features a wide range of summer-ready pieces that combines roman references with athleisure silhouettes to create an eclectic, versatile offering. Shirts, trousers and scarves are given Erdei’s signature prints that feature mosiacs and motifs known to his own work, all of which resonate with the 80s and 90s aesthetic present at holiday resorts in Palm Springs. Other items includes tracksuits, cushions and even towels.
