Arriving This Week.
UK streetwear giants Palace Skateboards and Boston born sports and lifestyle brand New Balance have continued down their collaborative path as the duo unveil campaign imagery for their newest release, unveiling two reimagined iterations of the NB Made In UK 991 silhouette.
Having formed their ‘match made in heaven’ partnership back in September 2022 with the release of two 580 colourways, Palace and New Balance have reunited as we head deeper into the spring and into the early summer, debuting an official look at two vibrant iterations of New Balance’s Made In UK 991 as well as a host of matching apparel. Putting on for the UK, this release sees New Balance’s Made in UK line take the main stage, with this long-running sub-line having opened its first factory on British soil back in 1982 whilst looking to highlight local craftsmanship and creative talent. Since then, a focus on British ideals, stories and designs have been consistently utilised across any Made in UK drops. For this effort, Palace continue to display their affection for contrasting colour palettes as both pairs boast individual ‘Teal/Purple/Brown’ and ‘Black/Grey/Pink/Purple’ colourways, with the wet weather ready pairs rocking mixed uppers consisting of ripstop, suede, and leather materials. Debuting alongside the pairs are matching apparel sets, with two co-branded water-resistant shell jacket and short co-ords leading the range, whilst a selection of t-shirts, crewnecks, and caps complete the tonal range.
The Palace x New Balance Made in UK 991 collection will be available to buy via the Palace website on May 12th.
