A New Start.
After a tumultuous time at Ann Demeulemeester of late, it looks as though the Belgian fashion house are back on track as they announce the appointment of Stefano Gallici as their new creative director.
With the departure of Ludovic de Saint Sernin as creative director last month after just one season at the helm, Ann Demeulemeester have wasted no time in getting their new start up and running as they unveil Stefano Gallici as their new creative director. The richly experienced creative graduated from Università Iuav di Venezia in Venice and was also the former assistant designer at highly-regarded house Haider Ackermann and moved to the Antonioli Group in 2019, who eventually acquired Ann Demeulemeester. Having apparently played a huge part behind the scenes of Ann Demeulemeester in his role, Gallici has now been handed the creative reigns at the Belgian fashion house.
Stefano Gallici will display his first collection with Ann Demeulemeester at Paris Fashion Week on September 30th.
