A Divisive Pair.
The relationship between Cactus Plant Flea Market, mainly known as CPFM, and Nike looks set to take the floor once again as the duo reconvene for a new collaboration.
Seemingly taking inspiration from Balenciaga’s ‘Bouncer’ platform, CPFM x Nike looks to keep their recent history of controversial collaborations going as they look set to release their collaborative ‘Flea 2’ sneaker. After their Christmas-themed Grinch-inspired effort, many sneaker heads began to question the direction in which both CPFM and Nike were going, but the introduction of the ‘Flea 2’ sneaker brings them right back on track. The industrialised sneaker features an oversized tread toe with a signature puff-print Nike midfoot Swoosh, metallic lace strapping, as well as co-branded accents on the tongue.
