Return of the King.
Joe Freshgoods returns to his metaphorical thrown as the imitable creative debuts a fresh look at three upcoming collaborations with New Balance.
The long running partnership has seen some of the sneaker world’s most cherished releases come to fruition, from the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v3 “Outside Clothes” to the 993 “Performance Art Blue” iteration, and this release looks set to be one of the most popular drops yet. Putting forward an ever-popular “Panda” themed pair – essentially being made up of black and white colour blocking – the new Joe Freshgoods x New Balance joint effort sees the 990v4 silhouette receive a makeover, with this “Outro 1998” pair boasting a classic mixed material upper consisting of a base mesh composition and suede and patent leather overlays, whilst “JFG” lettering sits proudly on the heel counter. The second “Intro” pair teased by Freshgoods features a reversed white and black colour scheme, with more of a focus being placed on the rugged suede that layers across the entirety of the upper. Lastly, a heavy dose of colour is introduced through the “Keisha Blue” instalment as a cobalt blue adorns a mixed material upper alongside striking light aqua laces, a stark black midsole unit, in addition to navy trimmings and subtle branded nods to both New Balance and Joe Freshgoods.
No release date has been set for this trio of new Joe Freshgoods x New Balance releases as of yet, but stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
