French fashion outfit Drôle de Monsieur are continuing to mix classic 70s silhouettes with 90s sportswear accents as their elevated essentials are reinterpreted for Spring/Summer 2024.
Thematically, Drôle de Monsieur take a trip the Provence region in France for SS24′, taking inspiration from iconic hotel La Colombe d’Or and its dedication to artistic heritage whilst celebrating authentic creativity and craftsmanship. For this new season, brash prints make their expected mark through a standout playing card motif that adorns classic silhouettes such as cuban shirts, shorts, and bathing suits, whilst new colour experimentation across Neo-Hawaiian shirts, track jackets, cardigans, sweater vests and more widen the previously seen 70s colour palette. Adding further attention to detail, references to the verdant gardens of Provence add a well thought out touch, with classic knits arriving in rose pink and mimosa yellow and jackets and workwear-inspired pants debut in shades of sage and olive.
