Very much in the nature of a traditional ‘sweet 16’, Marc Jacobs are making sure the world takes note of their birthday festivities as the brand’s 40th anniversary celebrations continue, with this latest campaign calling on some of the industry’s biggest hitters.
Having previously teamed up with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert and FKA twigs to show off the brand’s iconic ‘Tote Bag’ – whilst also celebrating their 40th anniversary – Marc Jacobs are back at it again with an even more star-studded campaign effort, tapping the likes of Pharrell Williams, Tremaine Emory, Takashi Murakami, Alastair McKimm, Anna Sui, Vaquera, Pat McGrath, NIGO and others to indulge in the marking of Marc Jacobs’ 40th. In more fashion-forward news, this campaign teases how the brand is set to conduct themselves over the next year, with these birthday celebrations set to see friends of the house design and curate special collaborations alongside Marc Jacobs, reinterpreting iconic pieces from the brand’s extensive archive. These collaborations are set to get under way later this month and continue until the very end of 2024.
