At Long Last.
Thought to be venturing into the territory of the long forgotten, the elusive JJJJound x adidas Samba collaboration was thought – up until now – to be somewhat of a pipe dream, but the Montreal born clothing outfit has now officially stepped forward alongside the sportswear giants.
The long-awaited pairs first hit the internet earlier in 2023 during the very pinnacle of the adidas Samba hype, with the low-lying silhouette having taken somewhat of a back seat since. However, JJJJound see the Spring/Summer 2024 season as the ideal time to bring the silhouette back to the very forefront of the conversation as they debut an official look at two new entries, which both unsurprisingly utilise stripped back colour schemes. Bringing forth their typically monochromatic aesthetic, the pairs come in two cream and black colourways as smooth leather takes up the upper alongside signature suede toes and adidas Three Stripes work with gold trefoil “JJJJOUND” lettering on the midfoot. Lastly, contrasting tongues, mustard yellow sock linings, and classic gum soles finish off the highly-anticipated pairs.
No release date has been set for this collaboration as of yet, but an SS24′ drop is official. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
