Corteiz Ready New Capsule ft. Simon Wheatley Collaboration

By May 2, 2024Fashion News

A New Frontier.

Taking things up a level, Corteiz refuse to hold up as they ready a new capsule collection, following on from their recent April drop.

Centred around a collaborative piece alongside British photographer Simon Wheatley, this collection is one of the first Corteiz efforts to feature a collaborative piece, with the streetwear mainstays’ only other noted joint effort being with fellow fashion giants Supreme. Utilising one of Wheatley’s most celebrated images, a graphic “ELITEWORK” windbreaker jacket leads the way here with Wheatley’s “Crazy Titch & Friend” image from his Don’t Call Me Urban! (2010) book, a snap that captures a pit bull dog being held on a leash amidst the backdrop of a tower block. Providing a solid dose of new typographies and colour schemes, the rest of the collection is filled out with the usual garments you’d expect to find from a Corteiz drop, from co-ord tracksuits and denim sets, zip-up knitwear and cardigans, and puffer bomber jackets to t-shirts, waffle knits, football jerseys, and track jackets, this capsule ticks many a box. Lastly, Clint 419 and Corteiz bring back the iconic black leather jacket for SS24′ due to popular demand, keeping its standout pebbled leather composition and Corteiz branded lining detail.

No release date has been set for this capsule as of yet, but stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
