"Finally Made a Shoe."
Jack Harlow’s long-standing ties with sportswear giants New Balance finally come to fruition as the duo join forces on a debut shoe.
After being unveiled as a New Balance brand ambassador many moons ago, Kentucky native Jack Harlow is finally joining the likes of fellow musicians Aminé and Action Bronson in having his very own New Balance collaboration, with the debut effort seeing the sleek 1906R silhouette receive a makeover. The sporty and typically mesh sneaker receives a more than welcome makeover here as the “Lovin’ on Me” hitmaker opts for Grandma’s curtains-core through a purple and cream floral canvas underlay on the upper, with overlapping accenting purple TPU adding some additional contrasting textures. Keeping a sense of uniformity, a solid green midsole unit stretches to the outsole and heel alongside beige notes on the toe box and tongue branding, whilst a purple velvet material seen on the laces and cushioned tongue doubles down on the Grandma-core.
No release date has been set for this pair as of yet, but stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
