From Fragrance to Fandom.
Harry Styles’ Pleasing label has dropped its first collection of ready-to-wear clothing under the scope of creative director, Harry Lambert. The Spring/Summer collection strays away from the previously safe collection, and deviates even further from their nail polishes and gender-fluid fragrances.
Styles, the face of fandom, geared his 25-piece lineup toward a summer full of cheer and friendly affairs. Aptly titled “Wet, Hot, Pleasing Summer,” the collection is driven by two-piece button-downs paired with shorts that let the thighs breathe. Further standouts include a royal blue knit tank top, a full striped tracksuit set with an adopted heart motif, and an overarching graphic language of fluttering rainbows and beaming suns.
The two-piece propels the collection forward, offering a mix of vibrant summer hues and a fun array of childish graphics that have all but grown up. One set matches the wavy vibes people are hoping to work up to this summer, pairing baby blue with a starkly contrasted red, whilst another will have you lighting up the street, with a fully dyed canary yellow base accented rays of sunshine over the left pocket and midway on the shorts.
Pleasing’s entire collection is up for sale on their website now, with prices ranging from $55 for the shooting star caps and up to $275 for the “Pleasing Loves You” track jacket.
