No matter how hard others try, nobody is quite like Aimé Leon Dore, and this latest FW24 season proves it.
Enlisting your favourite rapper’s favourite rapper in Mach-Hommy for this new Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, Aimé Leon Dore took to social media to follow up on their initial teaser trailer with a fully-fledged array of imagery. Making sure to strike back at the “preppy” wannabes, Aimé Leon Dore continue to underline themselves as the top dog in this realm, with this range including some of their most ambitious pieces to date, ones which utilise elevated designing and print work. For instance, their leading skeleton jacket is composed out of a rich brown and beige horsehair material, with a classic collared finish and a two-way zip providing some flexibility in how the piece is worn. The adaptable range of garments covers a wide selection of looks, with ALD having put forward a practical collection of outdoor wear through smartened up GORE-TEX tracksuits that boast “Aimé Leon Dore” scribble text, a vibrant orange hooded coat, quilted puffer trousers, as well as a pair of technical mesh gloves. Of course, ALD’s sophisticated capsule wardrobe approach shines through the very epicentre of this collection, with the fall and winter seasons being ticked off through knitted and crocheted polo shirts, wool overcoats and trousers, carpenter jeans, as well as an extended selection of headwear, which includes everything from snapback New York Yankees caps and vibrant red beanies to GORE-TEX 5-panels and tweed “Aimé Leon Dore” caps.
