Perfect Match.
Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov, did anyone see that coming? Unveiling their debut collaboration, this dynamic duo look here to stay for the upcoming FW24 season as they unveil a new collaborative campaign.
This joint mens and womenswear capsule is set to release this coming week as Levi’s and Kiko Kostadinov waste no time in getting down to business, with a range of reinterpreted classics ruling over this curated selection of unisex pieces. Taking a typically unique approach, Kiko Kostadinov looks to the Levi’s Engineered Jeans™ archival features from the 1990s on the menswear side of things, utilising the original engineered twisted construction through the brand’s own conceptual heritage approach. Denim jackets and pants opt for a new knee and elbow darting construction that inserts diamond stylings inspired by traditional Bulgarian motifs, whilst much-needed ventilation arrives through eyelets applied inside the diamond panels. In typical utilitarian style, two neutral tone jersey cardigans debut in black and grey, delving into Kostadinov’s sportier roots whilst being inclusive of the capsule’s western aesthetic.
The womenswear range sees Laura and Deanna Fanning take the reins as Levi’s speak directly to Kiko Kostadinov’s design language, with a standout including a three-piece denim suit that utilises washed materials in umber tones and Levi’s’ fondness for fuzzy textures – as seen through a recent ERL collaboration. Additionally, stripes offer up a welcome dose of contrast in the form of small, panelled details and washed irregular prints on a pulled Jersey Henley style.
The Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov collection launches worldwide on August 22nd.
