Workwear Turned Luxury.
A Loro Piana label alongside a Dickies logo certainly wasn’t on my 2024 mood board, but Japanese retailer ESTNATION has made it come to life. Acting as Dr. Frankenstein, the boutique known for licensing some of the Western world’s biggest names have created a hybrid of the Dickies 874 workwear trousers, which utilises Loro Piana wool.
Released exclusively at ESTNATION a few days ago, the pants feature Loro Piana wool with subtle striping along the legs, horn buttons and a leather Dickies patch trimmed in leather. They feature the same shape that makes Dickies 874’s some of the best budget trousers at $30, but the use of Loro Piana wool skyrockets the prices to about $400.
These aren’t an official licensed collaboration between the two brands, although it’s important to note that Loro Piana wool is available for wholesale. With collab culture stronger than ever, who’s to say the pair can’t release a full collection soon?
