Gucci has announced that its upcoming Cruise 2026 fashion show will be staged in Florence, Italy, on May 15, 2025. The show, titled “Gucci Firenze,” will pay homage to the city where the House was founded in 1921.
Creative Director Sabato De Sarno will present the collection in a yet-to-be-revealed location, marking a return to the city after his first Cruise show for Gucci earlier this year in London. The show will celebrate Gucci’s enduring connection with Florence, a city renowned for its Italian craftsmanship and visionary creativity.
De Sarno’s decision to bring the Cruise 2026 show back to Florence reflects Guccio Gucci’s journey, which began in London as a luggage porter at The Savoy hotel. Inspired by his experiences there, Guccio returned to Florence in 1921 and opened the eponymous leather goods shop.
