PUMA Speedcat
Continuing to put racing silhouettes at the forefront of the sneaker conversation, PUMA are capitalising on their hot run of form to present new colourways of their growingly-popular Speedcat silhouette. Coming through with an apt “Haute Coffee/Frosted Ivory” iteration – more commonly known as brown and white – the latest PUMA Speedcat zooms ahead of the competition, with the aerodynamic low-top suede silhouette being emblazoned with a signature embroidered cat detail on the toe, as well as logo hits on the tongue and above the Formstrip. Underlining a racing theme, tire-like black rubber sole units tie the pair together. The next big thing is here.
Y-3 x Salomon Speedcross 3
As collaborations go, this is up there. The standout joint release from this season so far has to be the Y-3 x Salomon Speedcross 3, with the long-awaited sneaker finally having hit the shelves. The ruffled pair put texture as paramount, debuting in a modern all grey colourway. A certified no-brainer for those fashion-forward folk.
UGG Tasman Maxi Curly
We’re all familiar with LOEWE’s Shearling Boots at this point in time, but this UGG pair tick all of those luxe boxes – without the price tag. The new UGG Tasman Maxi “Curly Chestnut” again prioritises texture, putting forward a cozy curly shearling upper in a fall-ready chestnut brown colourway, integrating effortlessly into anybody’s upcoming shoe rotation. UGG say: take the weight off your feet.
Nike Zoom Vomero 5
This blue “Royal Pulse” take on the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 stays true to the trends, with solid cobalt blue clearly being a shade that’s here for the foreseeable. The mesh entry takes the edge off of similar all blue sneakers seen in the wider sneaker sphere, with a pastel approach instilling a welcome mattified softness to the pair. Hits of silver, heel caging, and cushioned midsoles and tongues ease you into this set, adding something slick to whatever you’ve got going on.
New Balance 1000
It was an ALD collaboration, and then it wasn’t. Then it was, then it wasn’t. The New Balance 1000 “Pink/Beige” was subject to a plethora of collaboration rumours as initial imagery emerged for the eye-catching entry, but this standalone New Balance release didn’t need any outside influence: it had the answers. This divided pair catch the eye no matter which way you look at it, with a solid pink streak hitting the bottom half of the upper and entire sole unit, while a green divide separates the bottom from a cream top. The colour combinations are endless with this pair, so get to it.
