Pompeii, the streetwear and refined elegance fashion brand, has released the second drop of its highly anticipated “Marathon of Life” collection as part of its Fall/Winter 2024 campaign. This latest release continues Pompeii’s exploration of a life philosophy centered on long-term goals, emphasizing the importance of patience, reflection, and the gradual progression of small, mindful achievements.
The campaign features Moto K., an 80-year-old man who grew up in Japan when life moved at a slower pace. His story serves as a metaphor for the collection, highlighting the value of patience, daily care, and the quiet satisfaction of gradual progress.
The second drop of the “Marathon of Life” collection features standout pieces that combine functionality with timeless style. Highlights include a 3/4 trench Mac Coat made from heavy water-repellent cotton twill, a padded bomber jacket with checkered stitching, knitted rugby polos crafted from recycled wool, and heavyweight 540 GSM boxy fit cotton hoodies. The collection is completed with ballon fit cotton canvas trousers and double knee cord carpenter trousers, offering versatile, durable options for everyday wear. To further emphasize the collection’s theme of long-term vision and disciplined effort, four traditional haikus have been incorporated into the campaign. These haikus, selected to reflect the collection’s philosophy, distill life’s meaning into its simplest, most essential elements.
