It Might Be Your Lucky Day…
Simon Porte Jacquemus’ eponymous label continue to go from strength to strength, not just through their garments.
Known for their viral escapades across the industry, Jacquemus have their secret formula, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they stay to one lane. Heading in a new direction here, Jacquemus took to social media to share a first look at their latest viral “IRL” move, obviously heading to the former headquarters of the French Communist Party to do so. Taking place this past week, Jacquemus invited guests to come and take part in a luxe bingo session at Espace Niemeyer, an official historic monument in Paris. The space lives and breathes the aura of Jacquemus, with the forward-thinking retro space having been commissioned in 1965 by Brazilian modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer, a cutting-edge designer of his time. The space played host to an array of guests, all of whom took part in a TV-style bingo scene where marked balls flew around a shuffling machine and subsequent numbers were called out, with prizes including everything from Jacquemus scarves and gloves to handbags and caps. Upon the conclusion of the final round, it was reported that Simon Porte Jacquemus presented the grand prize of a €2,000 spending session at Jacquemus Paris flagship store to the lucky winner.
