Dakar took center stage on Friday, December 13th, for a culturally significant event that seamlessly blended art, sports, and community. The city became host to the homecoming screening of “All Day I Dream About Sports”, a visually captivating short film by renowned director Gabriel Moses, created in partnership with global icon Pharrell Williams and adidas. Shot in Dakar, Senegal with local talent, the film pays homage to the city’s vibrant energy and creativity.

As part of Dakar’s Short Film Festival week, the event transcends cinema, honouring the community that inspired the project. The day included a masterclass at l’Ecole Kourtrajmé, where Gabriel Moses mentored emerging directors, a cocktail reception at Trames in celebration of the city’s creative spirit, a community screening of All Day I Dream About Sports, and a post-screening discussion with Moses on the film’s artistic and cultural impact.
