Stone Island Debuts Brand New Leather Fabric

Stone Island has debuted a brand new leather fabric, materialized in a leather jacket, modelled by actor Ethan Ruan. 

The proprietary fabric has been created from a super thin layer of lambskin leather, bonded to superlight polyester organza. The latter is a polyester base, previously seen in other outerwear, which gives the leather jacket strength and a crunchy finish. Light Leather Organza takes inspiration from vintage military and motorcycling jackets. 

Internal seam-taping and covered zips complete the piece, along with the brand’s roping system for layering. The hooded jacket is further improved geometrically with black reflective tape, defining the piece’s silhouette. A white Stone Island badge graces the left sleeve. 

A release date has yet to be announced by the brand, but be ready for it to drop in time for Spring/Summer 2025.
