Balenciaga Drops Archetypal Shoe Titled The Monday

Balenciaga is looking to mend your Monday blues with an archetypal shoe called The Monday. Justly named for its everyday versatility, The Monday is a conceptual take on vintage running shoes, aiming to merge the lines of athletic footwear with a handmade aesthetic. 

Serving as the house’s first all-leather hybrid shoe, a leather upper is stitched onto an ultra light-weight rubber sole. The shoe features raw edges, visible stitching and intentional distressing for a DIY-inspired design.
