Acne Studios and Kappa Unite for 90s-Inspired Capsule

Relive the 90s!

Acne Studios and Kappa have released a Spring/Summer 2025 capsule collection, merging high-end fashion with technical sportswear. The 22-piece range includes denim, fitted layers, tracksuits, sneakers, and a reimagined Acne Studios Bowlina bag, alongside football jerseys.

A powerful creative synergy defines the campaign, showcasing the collection’s ’90s-inspired aesthetic. Photographer Jordan Hemingway’s visceral style, combined with Léopold Duchemin’s styling, amplifies the collaboration, which stars British music legend Tricky. According to Creative Director, Jonny Johansson, “Tricky’s music has had a real impact on my life. I’ve been a fan for a long time, and it just made sense to work with him for this project.”

The collaboration draws heavily from retro football kit designs, showcasing a vibrant pink jersey with a flame print and dual Kappa and Acne Studios branding. Detailed pieces include pale-wash denim and tracksuit pants highlighted by Kappa logo tape, and second-skin T-shirts reminiscent of athletic base layers. The Bowlina bag, revisited with a flame motif and dual logos, joins a logo baseball cap and football-inspired sneakers with knee-high socks to complete the accessory range.

The Acne Studios x Kappa collection will be available on the Acne Studios website from today and in Acne Studios stores worldwide from April 3rd.
