It’s no secret that Liam Gallagher is one of Stone Island’s longest-standing fans. For their Tela Resinata Block Colour jacket release, the brand tapped Gene Gallagher to model the jacket.
The jacket in question is inspired by Tela Stella, the godfather coat that started the label. Crafted in Tela Resinata, the jacket is a contemporary take on the original fabric, which was initially derived from military truck tarpaulins. Their standard garment-dyeing technique creates a lightly patinated olive colour, accentuated by silver buttons. Outfitted with a wide collar, a hidden hood sits beneath, along with a hook and loop strap, and slanted hand pockets.
Stone Island is set to slowly roll out these pieces across Spring/Summer 2025. Check out Gene Gallagher’s hero images below.
