The sportswear and lifestyle giant Adidas gets playful with a gritty Avavav collaboration that takes on the three stripe fashion house.
A different approach to the everyday wear of adidas’ brand is taken on with its unconventional products in collaboration with Avavav. The satirical take on street style and everyday sports dressing was first unveiled at Milan Fashion Week within Avavav’s FW25 collection. The pieces scream fun, playful and not taking style too seriously in its colourful array of accessories and track uniforms.
The brand took the collection’s runway debut in a literal sense in Italy. The show compiled looks where models wore sweat proof headbands and goggle-style glasses and sculpted caps which gave the collection a dystopian feel. The elevated looks are a new dimension of the Adidas brand. Made for those who are daring to challenge the status quo with sportswear and feel comfortable dressing in what feels adidas’ most avant garde collaboration yet.
For your next morning at the run club, travel or errands day, this collection serves to disrupt the mondain and exudes a new personality into adidas’ DNA. Avavav’s creative director Beate Karlsson has introduced shapes and curves to the line that feel futuristic. There is a touch of grit, character and architecture infused into the sculpted handbag, classic superstar shoe and pleated track pants to name a few key styles.
